If you owned a Honda Passport back in the day, you'll be pleased to hear this: rumor has it that a new Honda Passport may be revealed in November, 2018, at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The Passport was last seen sixteen years ago in 2002. It was fairly popular in its time, but was phased out.

While the Passport specifically returning is just a rumor, it does appear that a new crossover SUV is going to debut in 2019. While this may be the Passport, no one knows for sure.

What is known is that the new crossover will be two rows, about 6 inches shorter than the Pilot, and will aim to compete with the Ford Edge, Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, and the Nissan Murano in the US midsize crossover segment.

The new crossover SUV, whatever the name on its badge, will be Honda's fourth crossover in the US market, reinforcing the trend that consumers can't get enough SUVs.
